FAQs
The Answers You Need
I don't have any experience... can I audition?
Absolutely!
We welcome new performers regardless of experience. Come along to one of our workshops and give it a try! Whether you would like to audition for a leading role or want to be part of our chorus there is something for everyone.
How old do I have to be?
Our shows are usually for 16+ with no upper limit.

We do however sometimes need to cast children and/or young teens in specific roles depending on the requirements of the show we are doing at the time. If this is the case we will advertise on social media and on the website.

We have been known to produce the odd youth production too!
Do I have to be a member to audition?
No you don't!

You also don't have to pay a membership fee to be a Marianette.

Are there show fees?
Yes.
Each show requires a different fee which will be outlined during the audition process (This is normally £40-£50 per show).
Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?
Yes.
There are no stairs to the theatre, a lift to all other facilities and we can reserve wheelchair spaces for you in the audience.
Is there an audience age guide?
This depends on the nature of the show.
Please send us a message to enquire about the show you would like to come and see and we can advise accordingly!
